Absolutely. Many Desert Blaze athletes are first-time players. Our league is designed to teach fundamentals in a positive, encouraging environment — whether your child is brand new or already experienced.
Players are grouped by age division to ensure fair, balanced play. Our goal is to create teams where athletes can grow, learn, and compete comfortably at their level.
Seasons typically include multiple regular-season games followed by end-of-season play off. Specific season dates and schedules are shared well in advance so families can plan accordingly. Check the Registration tab for specific season dates and locations.

• Games are typically played on Friday evenings

We understand that families have busy schedules. While we encourage consistent attendance, occasional absences are expected and okay. Coaches are informed and should be supportive.
Yes! Parents and family members are encouraged to attend games and cheer positively from the sidelines. We ask that all spectators help create a fun, respectful environment for players, coaches, and officials.
